Our story
A family home, opened up
Sotiris and Marina have been in tourism since they were children, and it shows: help is never far away, and the small rural roads around the grove are theirs to point you toward. Studios Betty sits inside their own olive grove on Thasos’ east coast, where the mountain meets the sea — right on the main road, just 300m from Kinira beach.
A few years ago they opened five studios in the family house, on the hillside above the bay — the same view, the same quiet, now shared with guests. Between guests, Sotiris tends the olive trees and the garden, and goes fishing when he can.
There’s no reception desk here — just Sotiris and Marina, at the end of a phone call.
The garden
Where the days slow down
A hundred-year-old olive tree shades the stone dining table. There’s a hammock swing, sun loungers, a floral awning for the hot afternoons, and a BBQ for evenings that run long. It’s where guests end up, whether they planned to or not.
