Cookie Policy

Nothing is set until you say yes. When you first arrive you are asked to choose. Until you do, no analytics cookie is written and nothing is sent to Google. Declining is one click, exactly like accepting, and you can change your mind at any time using Cookie settings in the footer.
1. Necessary
One entry is stored in your browser regardless, because without it we could not remember your cookie choice and would have to ask on every page:

This is browser local storage rather than a cookie: it stays on your device and is never transmitted to us or anyone else. It holds no identifier and nothing that could identify you.
2. Analytics — only if you accept
If you accept analytics, we load Google Analytics 4 to count how many people visit each page and which pages are useful. IP anonymisation is switched on. We do not use it for advertising and we do not combine it with anything else.

If you decline — or simply never choose — none of these are written, and the Analytics script is never downloaded. We use Google Consent Mode v2, which starts with every signal set to denied and only changes if you grant it.
3. Marketing
We run no advertising or remarketing tools, so nothing is set under this heading today. The control exists in the banner so that if we ever add any, your choice is respected from the start rather than asked for afterwards.
4. The map
Our Location page can show a Google map. It does not load on its own. You will see a placeholder with a button, and nothing is requested from Google unless you press it.
If you do press it, Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies in your browser. Those cookies are Google's, not ours, and they are described in Google's own policies. Typical examples:

Google may change these at any time. The current list is in Google's cookie notice. To avoid it entirely, simply do not press the button — every page works without the map, and the address and directions are written out in text.
5. Links to other sites
Our "Book Now" buttons take you to Booking.com. Once you are there you are on their website, under their cookie policy and privacy policy, not ours.
6. Changing your mind
Your choice is not permanent. Select Cookie settings in the footer of any page to reopen the banner and change or withdraw it. Withdrawing stops any further collection; to remove data already collected, contact us and we will ask Google to delete it.
If we ever add a service not described here, we will ask again before it runs, and update this page at the same time.
